Astrophotography by Rob

Rob's Astrophotography

Welcome to my website featuring my astrophotography. I am fairly new to astrophotography and in the process of learning how it is done.

My imaging occurs from Thailand and Australia. The Thailand-based equipment is only used from about November to April every year due to the almost perpetual cloud cover during other months of the year. When in use my equipment is housed in an observatory in my backyard.

The set up in Australia is used remotely. I share this observatory with two other people. While the optics and camera equipment is very similar to my equipment in Thailand it gives me access to southern targets and allows year-round astrophotography.

Feel free to have a look around and let me know what you think.

If you would like an email when I make additions to the site please use the contact page.
